Simil chocolate truffles recipe by of 20-07-2012 [Updated on 31-05-2016]
Hello everyone, today's recipe comes from a disaster, you must know that when I have to melt chocolate I always use and always say novi chocolate because it always melts very well, does not make lumps and remains nice and smooth for a while . The other afternoon I had prepared some sweets at my mother's house to glaze with chocolate but after having asked in 3 shops and not having found the novi, tired of going around in circles and late to prepare Elisa's baby food, I folded up for some chocolate bars of another brand. The result? The chocolate has thickened and made lumps !!! I got nervous, I don't tell you how much and I was about to throw everything away (including the saucepan), but then I thought it best to use the disaster by adding other ingredients and try to make something good. I added some butter, some cocoa biscuits and some ricotta and I made some similar truffles, I rolled them in bitter cocoa and grated coconut and I served them next to the coffee, they were devoured;) Me, little love and great love we are about to leave for our weekend by the sea, I also wish you a beautiful weekend and we will read on Monday with the recipe for my brother's birthday cake (the graduate ed) then, ready with the sugar paste :)
How to make chocolate truffles
Melt the milk chocolate in a saucepan with the butter in a bain-marie.
Chop the cookies coarsely and add them to the chocolate.
Stir and add the ricotta and a spoonful of coffee or liqueur.
Stir and put the mixture in the fridge for a quarter of an hour.
Take back the chocolate mixture and with the help of 2 teaspoons form balls
Gradually roll each tartufino in bitter cocoa or grated coconut.
Place in the cups and then on a plate that will go in the fridge.
Put the chocolate truffles in the fridge until ready to serve.
