Fried Mushrooms Recipe of 02-11-2011 [Updated on 07-06-2016]

Mushrooms, you know, are my passion and it has been a while since I posted a nice recipe with mushrooms on the blog, so when I spotted the first pleurotus mushrooms of the season I couldn't not buy them and I made mushrooms for the first time fried, a delicious and tasty autumn dish. Obviously you can do the same procedure if you decide to use porcini mushrooms or champignons (cutting them first into slices though) but in my opinion these wide cap mushrooms are ideal to be prepared breaded and fried, try them and then tell me;)


How to make fried mushrooms

Cut the stems and clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth

Dip the mushrooms in the egg, milk, salt and pepper mixture

Then pass the mushrooms in the breadcrumbs and Parmesan

Fry the mushrooms in boiling oil and cook 3 minutes per side

Lift the fried mushrooms and serve hot
