Recipe Icicles with prosecco di of 10-06-2017 [Updated on 09-03-2018]
A few weeks ago I read an article about an English company, Pops, which has dedicated a range of popsicles to Prosecco to cool us down this summer.
I immediately searched for them online to find a retailer but I discovered, to my great regret, that they are not yet marketed in Italy, so, since I liked the idea a lot, I decided to make up for it by preparing the prosecco popsicles in home.
They are made by simply combining a syrup of sugar and water with prosecco, add a few cherries and here they are ready for passage in the freezer. Obviously they are not suitable for children but they are perfect for an aperitif between adults or for an after dinner. Girls I wish you a good weekend and I'm going to the sea, docks: *
How to make Prosecco Icicle
Start preparing the sugar syrup by dissolving the water and sugar in a saucepan over the heat. Bring to a boil and simmer for a few minutes, then turn off the heat and let it cool.
Now pour the syrup and prosecco into a bowl and mix.
Transfer everything to the popsicle molds and add a pitted cherry to each one.
Add the stick and leave in the freezer for at least 4 hours.
Your prosecco popsicles are ready to be served.
