The salted pie with cooked ham and tomatoes is one of my favorite dinner savers because it is a quick and easy quiche to make. You can also prepare it using a different base, from shortcrust pastry to pizza, but you know how fond I am of puff pastry and since I always have a roll in the fridge, for me the choice fell on the classic pastry. Perfect for a summer dinner, it is undoubtedly a recipe to try;)
How to make a ham and tomato tart
Roll out the puff pastry in a pan lined with parchment paper, then prick the base with the tines of a fork
Cover with a layer of cooked ham
Cut the tomatoes into slices, then place them on the ham and add salt and pepper
Fold the edge around and form a cord. Bake the quiche at 180 ° C for 20 minutes.
Remove the tart from the oven, spread out the slices of smoked scamorza cheese and bake for another 5 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
Serve the savory tart hot.
