THE emmental crackers they are perfect pretzels for an aperitif or for a tasty, tasty and different snack. Yes, because in addition to having Emmental in the dough, they are cut so that they also have the shape of small wedges of this tasty cheese. In addition, the process is easy and quite fast, so I would say that they are really worth trying;)
After seeing and reviewing them on the Facebook group of Misya's recipes, where it became a real catchphrase, I couldn't help but propose them to you on the blog, so the other morning I had a recipe session with my friends and we made these cheese pretzels for the appetizer. Try them and you will love them, sure: P
How to make Emmental crackers
Put the butter and flour in a bowl and work until you get a sandy mixture, then add the eggs, Parmesan and Emmental, salt (a little, because the cheeses are tasty) and if you want pepper (in my opinion it fits very well).
Knead until you get a homogeneous dough, then wrap with cling film and let it rest in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
After half an hour, take the dough and roll it out into a fairly thin sheet (about 3 mm), trying to shape it into a circle.
Obtain about 12 wedges, then cut them into 2 or 3 parts to obtain your slices of cheese.
Place the wedges on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and make holes of a couple of different sizes (you can use a straw and a cap, for example), in order to simulate the typical holes of Emmental.
Bake in a preheated convection oven at 190 ° C for about 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
The emmental crackers are ready, let them cool down at least before serving, or better still serve them cold, so that they become crunchy.
